Recently I put together an Environmentally Friendly Back to School Range as I’m making small changes to the way I do things at home to help create a more sustainable way of living. And it’s great to see many businesses doing the same.
Pilot B2P has launched an eco-friendly BegreeN range of products made from a minimum 70% recycled content.
The Pilot B2P pen is the latest addition to this range and is the first refillable gel ink pen made from recycled plastic PET bottles. Resembling its former life as a bottle with a transparent barrel and characteristic grooves, Pilot B2P is sure to add some character to a pencil case.
Comprised of 89% recycled content (excluding replaceable parts such as ink), Pilot B2P is available in four colours ready for any writing task – blue, black, red and green.
I have 3 Back to School Prize Packs to giveaway (each worth $50). Pictured is what is in the pack.

January 26, 2011 at 7:31 amI am doing exactly the same thing this year! I am really taking on a more sustainable lifestyle & making many changes to our everyday living. I think it is important to be mindful of the small, everyday items that we might not even consider & these stationery items are a great example of that!! Great for the environment & great for the kids to start back at school with, fantastic 🙂

January 26, 2011 at 7:36 amWhat a fabulous range of products. I too have jumped on the bandwagon of trying to be more conscious about the products I use being friendlier to our environment. I also have a chronic stationery addiction which is very clearly being passed onto my son! These items would be a very welcome addition to my stationery drawer!

January 26, 2011 at 7:51 amWhat a fantastic idea. Well done to you and Pilot. I have 2 back just gone back to school and 2 wishing they were. With 4 kids there’s never a pen handy in this house. Will have to look at this range when I stock up.

January 26, 2011 at 7:56 amCan anybody have too much stationary? Love the fact that these products are looking at a more sustainable future. Thanks for the offer…:)

January 26, 2011 at 8:09 amWOW! Love it..Like alot of others, I’m also making changes to everything home and school this year. As I also work in a school and have had a blissful 6 week holiday, I have spent some of that time, baking and freezing recess and lunch foods for the term. I have put a ban on any pre-packaged snacks etc this year.
I didn’t know about this pen range and would love to start the new year with another way to make more of an effort for a sustainable future!!

January 26, 2011 at 8:11 amI’m heading back to study myself this year. Part of the excitement I feel is justification to buy new stationary. I love the new look, green gel pen.

January 26, 2011 at 8:19 amI used the smash no rubbish luch boxes last year. My kids loved them and it really does make you feel good about not wrapping everything in plastic.
My kids love using the Pilot Frixion Ball Pens, they certainly keep good copies of homework / school work neat and tidy.
My sweet son gave away his to another student last year.
To be honest at first I was really upset,
I asked him “why would you just give them away!” in a rather annoyed tone.
Then my heart filled with empathy and compassion.
I knew this was a young man I was proud of, his response was …
“Mum his family can’t afford them. Some of the other kids were teasing him just because he could have them. So I gave him mine. He needs a break and if the kids decide to tease me instead, so what. I can handle it”
Gosh those tears are back again!

January 26, 2011 at 8:39 amMy daughter has developmental delays so she struggles with fine motor skills but she still tries so hard and just loves writing and drawing. I love encouraging her, and to her a set of pens and stationery is better than any toy. I love using environmentally friendly products and it’s great to see companies supporting this by making these great pens.

January 26, 2011 at 3:19 pmOlivia (aged nearly seven) just leaned over my shoulder to look at the photo of the pens and let out a little happy gasp, and her eyes widened. “Can I have some of those pleeease?” she said!
(And in all seriousness, I would love her to have some. I am organising a “homework box” for her and Charlie and this set would be PERFECT!

January 26, 2011 at 10:06 pmI bought one of these B2P pens immediately when I saw it in the shops – it looks soo much like the bottles of French mineral water I was drinking for years, I loved it. The pen has been leaching a little, I must say, and that surprised me a little, as the Pilot pens are usually really good. It could have been the heat and humidity though, storing it horizontally now, seems alright ..
so I would very happily giving it a go and enter please 🙂
The dual spotlighter looks pretty cool and seems practical too..
