It’s raining outside today, and while my son watched a little television, I set up some wood pieces to make roads.
Materials
Untreated pine wood pieces, wide enough for 2 match box cars (I asked at Bunnings for wood safe for children to handle as some wood is treated with nasty chemicals)
Permanent marker
Matchbox (or other small) cars
Wood Roads
This activity took a few moments to set up. I drew road lines on the wood with permanent marker and placed a few on the floor, and one between two boxes for a bridge.
Quick and easy.
