If you have a child who engages with Barbie, they may enjoy to play “hairdressers” and create hair colour designs. This is super easy to do at home with washable texters. It only works on light coloured hair though.
Materials
- Baking Paper
- Washable markers (I used the ultra-clean washable markers from Crayola)
Set up: Ideally set up on a table or outside on old towel.
1. Cut a few small sections of baking paper.
2. Take a small section of the hair you want to colour.
Place the small piece of baking paper underneath the hair.
Colour in!
The hair “dye” will be quite wet at this point so don’t rub it around too much.
Continue this process until you have coloured the desired amount of hair. Allow to dry for about 5-10 minutes (preferably in the sun).
Brush lightly and it’s done!
The brand I used REALLY does wash out easily, and you can then do other designs. I demonstrated how it washes out in the video below. The image below is after it’s washed, and then with a new hair colour design.
