HUGE Display Board for Children’s Artwork

memo pin bulletin board

I searched high and low for a nice looking (large) bulletin/memo board which would be ideal for the kitchen or living area. Hanging a huge cork board is one of the best ways to feature children’s transient artwork in a stylish way. I discovered this idea through Rachel (which you can find more about her organisational ideas here). Rachel customised her display board to fit the space and her decor perfectly so it looks fantastic (as pictured above). You can customise the frame and the size easily by following these instructions (for those based in Australia):

1.Visit the The Frame Shop and decide on what sort of cork board size you want.

2. Below the measurements options, there’s an ‘Add a Frame’ button.

3. This takes you to a selection page where you can decide on a frame. Frames are graded in terms if price so if you’re looking for the cheapest frame possible, have a look at rating 1 and so on. I was exploring a frame 60cm by 90cm and a cork board framed costs about $115. There are heaps of different materials and colours available, from pink aluminium to pine.

This is pretty awesome! I know many parents that wouldn’t bother with their child’s artwork at all. My personal opinion is that we need to show our kids how proud we are from their accomplishments, because this will motivate them to continue to grow. Great job!
