I recently grabbed some pieces from the Styling You The Label range. A lot of it is now sold out, BUT the new It’s a Wild World range is being released Sunday at 7 pm (6 September). Just in time for Spring! These pieces have my name all over it!
I really like the SYTL pieces, because they are classics that just work effortlessly with your current wardrobe. I bought the Kristen Cape (in ivory). I LOVE-LOVE it! It also comes in blush, Paris pink, and black. I also bought a wide-leg pant and the Rachael technical cami in raspberry.
I want to talk about the cami shape for a moment. I don’t tend to wear sleeveless clothes often, because I don’t like getting my arms out. But this cami is cut really nicely (especially around the arm and shoulder), so I feel comfortable. This pink is sold out, but there are camis coming out in the new launch so I plan to nab another (either in the Brooke animal print cami or Rachael technical cami in black).
Recently, I was chatting to Nikki about the blogging journey and how it has led to the development of her SYTL fashion label. Many in the blogosphere will know Nikki because she has been around from the beginning of blogging in Australia. But also because she is one of those people who helps and supports others. Over the years, she’s invested in so many women’s lives, and it’s obvious, this extends to the way she designs, and features her clothes too. When we chatted, there is a line that stood out to me. Nikki said her blog and brand is about:
Making women feel comfortable and confident so they can get on and do whatever it is they want to do.
I get that feeling when I wear the pieces. They are easy to wear, so very classy and comfy, and incorporate effortlessly with my other wardrobe pieces — so it really does take the guesswork out of what to wear.
It’s a Wild World Collection
I wanted to show you some of the pieces I have my eye on in the new range. You can view the entire collection here: It’s a Wild World. Got to get in quick because stock is limited.
My first pick is the Bec technical shorts. They are now on their fourth run, and there is a good reason why. They are uber comfy and you can dress them up or down. Below you can see them featured on Nikki and Bec.
Faaiza (from Modest Munchies) is wearing the Karen scuba jacket which is a classic piece for the wardrobe. I like the cut of this jacket. Stace is wearing the Maria technical split pant — love the look of these pants!
The Brooke animal print cami with the Nik scarf that Sonia is wearing look AMAZING. I also like the Tanya relaxed tee with “you glow girl” text that Jo is wearing. When you buy the Tanya tee, you also are supporting Girl Shaped Flames, a Brisbane-based organisation that offers programs, coaching and experiences for teenage girls in Years 7-12.
