Smart-Trike are excited to announce the release of the latest Smart-Trike Recliner Stroller 4 in 1, the innovative model from Smart-Trike, global leaders in the tricycle field. Smart-Trike Recliner was launched in 2009 and is the first trike in the world designed for babies from 6 months – babies that can’t even sit yet! The adjustable tilting recliner seat gives the baby a comfortable and safe perch to enjoy being outdoors. But, when they’ve seen enough, tip the seat back and it’s a perfect for nap time too. With Smart Trike’s unique detachable steering handle parents have full control and peace of mind during the early stages. As your child develops the handle can be removed to allow excited toddlers pedal and explore on their own.
The uniqueness of the new model from Smart-Trike is that the trike, that functions as a stroller is now officially certified as one! This is the first and only trike in the market that is officially certified as a stroller after passing strict shock absorption tests. This plus the padded head support and the improved EVA wheels ensure that both parents and child will instantly fall in love with this trike.

August 17, 2011 at 11:52 amMy daughter is now 7 and I wish these were around back when she was a baby. After thinking we were unable to have any more kids we were blessed with a surprise package in the form of a little man. He is now 13 months old and absolutely loves being outside. Keep meaning to save and buy one of these but it just never happens.

August 17, 2011 at 1:58 pmThis looks like it would be lots of fun for exploring on – I can see me having to push it up the hill on the way home though! (* note to self, look for a house location where you walk uphill at the START of the walk not the end!)

August 17, 2011 at 5:33 pmThat would have saved me from buying the more than 5 strollers I have in the first 2 years of my sons life to still not have found “the one for us”. This offers the best of both worlds, a stroller and a bike and even has a bag for all those essential bits (currently undies, wipes and spare pants).

August 17, 2011 at 7:23 pmI’ve started seeing these (or similar) all over the place lately, such a great idea. Particularly for my 2 yr old who tires easily from walking, but will insist that he’s too big for the pram!

August 18, 2011 at 11:48 amWhat a fantastic idea. With so many products available for parents it is easy to buy one thing after another only to have to either sell or store it 6 mths later. This is one of the best products I have seen in a long time.

August 21, 2011 at 2:10 pmHi Kelly,
I’ve just come across your website and I’d like to say that I love your theme. I’m a mother of one very active 20 month old girl (Isobel). I work full-time from home so my days are full of just jumping from one task to another (emails, Isobel, phonecalls, Isobel, research, Isobel) so sometimes it can be a little overwhelming. I have trained myself however to stop and breathe and enjoy the little things. Seeing Isobel laugh is one of my favourite things and it can turn a stressful, tiring day into a ray of sunshine!
Anyway, like I said above, Isobel is quite an active child. She hardly every sits still and whenever we go anywhere she is literally out of her stroller or pram within 3 minutes. We usually end up using the stroller/pram as a trolley to push our belongings around as you mentioned in your Ekka Post (I thought for a couple of seconds that it might be fun to go to the Ekka this year with Isobel but only for a couple of seconds . . . . .). I’m wondering if the Smart-Trike may be the solution – would she treat the trike as more of a toy and actually remain seated for more than a few minutes? I wonder . . . . .
In any instance as you’re giving one away (that’s very generous by the way) I thought I might as well put my hand up. Otherwise we’ll just have to start saving our pennies.
Take care,
Leesa.

August 22, 2011 at 12:48 amI would love one for my third child, she is every bit as loved as her brother and sister but has never had a new toy of her own!

August 23, 2011 at 1:41 pmI have been eying one of this trikes off for awhile. My two year old is small for her age and loooves to ride like her brother. The only thing is most trikes don’t have straps to make her safe, as she can’t touch the pedals she over balances.
Melanie
August 23, 2011 at 6:40 pmI would love to one of these trikes. My husband bought my older son a bike the other day and my 1 year old is desperate for a bike of her own.

August 24, 2011 at 8:34 pm“It’s something I wish was around when I had my first child!” I’m a first time mum and I am perusing the web reading up on the smart trike recliner which has now brought me here to your blog!!! I must say after your description of the benefits to all and fun for the little one you’ve now made me want to buy him one immediately!! However, if I was to win one for his first birthday next month it would be even better !!!!!! I can see him now, wind in his hair, cruising through the park on the way to the coffee shop for a babycino….. Ok ok you get the picture!!
