I adore buying and supporting handmade. It feels good to support someone who has worked with their own hands. I also love handmade items because they are so unique and make wonderful Christmas presents. Today on the blog, I’m featuring Christie’s handmade shop, Joyfoolery. Christie and I have been online friends for a long time now, and she often inspires me as she strives to live simply with her family of 6.
There are many gorgeous things in her shop and below are are some of my favourites:
L to R: 1. Ladies Sun Hat 2. Boy’s Nautical Theme Hat 3.Toddlers Car Backpack
4. Toddlers Milk Truck Backpack 5. Yellow and White Check Skirt 6. Baby Pinafore and Nappy Cover

November 20, 2011 at 5:52 pmhow gorgeous are her things! I love the backpacks 🙂 I have decided to support WAHMs on Madeit this Christmas as much as possible, rather than the big department stores, and I’d like to think some people will buy from my store too – plus they are unique 🙂 (PS Kelly, I’m not entering the competition since I make kids clothes myself, but just wanted to say how gorgeous they are!)

November 20, 2011 at 7:05 pmBeautiful items! I love the pyjama doll. I think that would really help my girls with the almost-nightly drama of “I can’t find my nightie!!” (because I just cant seem to train them to put their pjs under their pillow when they make heir bed.) The beach is cute too.
(PS some of your links weren’t working for me …. the ‘click here’ ones.)
