Recently, I wrote a post about cleaning out my handbag because it looked like this:
In my post, I mentioned the Borne Naked bag liners, because I had seen them before and thought they looked fabulous. To my surprise, a few days later, I received this lovely email in my inbox.
Soon after our correspondence, a package arrived on my door step and I (very happily) organised my handbag, again. I love this sort of blogging and way of working with brands, because it gives the online world a community feel. I’m a regular mum, sharing as I live life. And Amanda from Borne Naked is a woman who found a need and made a great product (read about it here). It’s about real people, talking about everyday things, and I love that.
Love me a few before/after pictures.
What I love about the Borne Naked Liners
The Borne Naked liners have been on my wish list for a while now, and there are three main reason why I like them, apart from the obvious organisational benefits.
1. Clear: The liners are clear so I can easily see what’s inside. There are pockets inside each liner to separate the contents.
2. Zip: Many handbag liners I’ve seen before are open at the top, and this doesn’t work for me because my handbag is thrown all about the place — in the car, out of the car, back in the car. The Borne Naked liners have a zip at the top so the contents of my bag don’t fall all over the place. Love.
3. Easy: I like to easily move my essentials from one bag to another, from my everyday bay, to my evening bag, to my beach bag. Easy and quick.

Sizes
Borne Naked have many different liners and handbag accessories (just head to the Borne Naked website to have a look). To give you an idea of the three main sizes, you can see my regular sized handbag as a reference in the below picture.
Small: I use the small one in my regular sized handbag, and it fits in my evening bag too.
Small – L 23.5cm x H 13cm x W 7cm
Medium: The medium sized bag is fabulous for a regular bag, large bag, gym tote or nappy bag.
Medium – L 26cm x H 15cm x W 7cm
Large: The large liner is ideal for a large handbag, a nappy bag, or suit case. I use my large one as my beauty bag when I travel.
Large – L 27.5cm x H 22.5cm x W 9cm

August 6, 2012 at 7:22 amMy wishlist could come true too!!! I have a bag with several compartments for myself and by little ones nappies etc. But I have a beautiful Saskia handbag I want to use with only one large opening, no good for easy access to my little ones nappy goodies!! 🙂 Please grant me my wish Xo

August 6, 2012 at 7:30 amIve just bought myself a new gorgeous big guess bag to replace my nappy bag. It’s a fantastic size however little things do tend to get lost. These will be on my research list when I start looking for a bag liner/organiser soon.

August 6, 2012 at 7:31 amPerfectly timed!! This past weekend I was gifted a gorgeous new handbag from my parents. I love it but it is a bit on the deep side which means I can see things easily getting lost deep within! A Bourne Naked organiser would be a brilliant solution to that inevitable problem! 😀

August 6, 2012 at 7:32 amHats off to Borne Naked liners! Kelly was never a lover of organizing her bag (she used to like everything chucked in together). Born Naked therefore, MUST be fantastic!! I’m in. I love a compartmentalised bag 🙂

August 6, 2012 at 7:33 amI had been thinking of one with an open top, but you make an excellent point Kelly. With the amount of throwing my bad endures, it would never work! These ones are just the ticket!

August 6, 2012 at 7:34 amOh dear! My silly phone auto corrected to ‘Bourne’ instead of ‘Borne’. Guess it thinks it’s going to the movies! 🙂

August 6, 2012 at 8:47 amlove, love, love, love this. I have been passionate about organization since I was a little girl and always on the lookout for new ideas. I love how facebook has become such an excellent tool for sharing ideas. I would love to incorporate these products into my handbags. Thanks for posting this great product.

I can never find anything in the bottom-less pit that is my handbag!

August 6, 2012 at 9:39 amWhat a fantastic idea! I’m always losing things between my uni bag, gym bag, everyday handbag and (rarely used) evening / going out bag. I would love something that keeps it all together (visibly) that I can just grab and shift. No more getting caught out without Panadol at the school disco, or cursing dry lips at the beach. Thanks for sharing Kelly!

August 6, 2012 at 11:03 amOoh, something I could REALLY use! With 4 children, there’s A LOT in my bag. It would be great to know I could actually find what I need when I need it! 🙂
Jana
August 6, 2012 at 11:05 amI NEED this. While I love my nappy bag with all its pockets, there just aren’t enough compartments to contain all 3 kids bits and pieces and my stuff. Plus this would make it husband proof! You all know what I mean, the moment they touch the nappy bag everything just mixed about and out of place… 😉

August 6, 2012 at 11:14 amAnything that compartmentalises and brings a sense of order – is a good thing!

August 6, 2012 at 12:24 pmI would be waaaaay to ashamed to show you the inside of my handbag but currently it holds ballet shoes, nurofen, makeup, purse, keys (2 sets), a miniture turtle (who knows why that is there?!), lip balm, a notebook, business cards, phone, work pass, earphones…. anyway lets just say I need one of these!! 🙂

August 6, 2012 at 2:03 pmI would love to win something like this. I have a 4.5 year old and a 16month old. I am forever loosing absolutely everything in my handbag / nappy bag. What I would give to just be able to find a lip gloss once in a while. 🙂

August 6, 2012 at 2:05 pmWhat a great idea!!! I am going to check them out I have been looking to organise my bag because it is a nightmare to find anything, let alone find it in a hurry!! My husband now refuses to even look for anything in there and just brings the whole bag to me!!!!
Cheryl
August 6, 2012 at 2:13 pmI have always just had one handbag because I don’t have time to transfer all the bits and pieces from bag to bag every morning as I am getting out the door – this would solve it! Would love to give them a try.

August 6, 2012 at 8:00 pmMy handbag is my worst nightmare. I am forever digging at the bottom trying to find things especially when I am in a rush it is quite frustrating but everything in there I need! This is a great idea so I can put my work phone and keys together, tissues separately etc.
Fingers Crossed!

August 6, 2012 at 9:35 pmI’m using small bag to put my daughter’s stuffs (extra cloth, plaster, hand sanitiser, pawpaw, betadine, etc – she’s very active and quite often fall and hurt her knee, etc, so i must bring those things). And put it in my super big hand bag. But because its not transparent, i have to tip out everything inside to get what i need. I think this is what i need

August 7, 2012 at 11:26 amOoo! I LOVE Bourne Nakeds! I’ve been following their site for ages, but just can’t afford any “extra luxuries” with a mortgage and a huge HEX (Uni) debt at the moment. *sigh*
It’s on my birthday and Christmas wish lists though!! 😀

August 7, 2012 at 1:31 pmOh I would love one of these! My handbag doubles as a nappy bag and is always full of everyone’s junk. This would be perfect!

August 7, 2012 at 1:45 pmOMGosh I sure do need one of these, I like to match my handbag with my outift, but when transferring everything from one bag to another, I inevitably forget something.

August 7, 2012 at 3:44 pmI can see why, they named these Borne Naked as they’re the one essential accessory, All we need to come into the world with to get our bags organised totally.

August 7, 2012 at 3:54 pmLOL I’ve been using a pencil case in my hand bag for years! They do the same thing.

August 7, 2012 at 3:56 pmSo need one of these! Recently in a pub, paying for a round of drinks AND a tampon jumped out of my hand bag and onto the bar. Embarrassed doesn’t even begin to cover it, for me, or the hottie behind the counter who didn’t know where to look…..eventually wishing me a ‘bloody’ good night! Men!

August 7, 2012 at 6:18 pmDid a lightning quick bag change-over before heading out the door this morning… then realised as I arrived at work that my work keys were in yesterday’s bag. Whoops.

August 7, 2012 at 8:27 pmWhat a great nifty way to hold all my little bits and pieces – no more digging around the bottom of my bag for my lip balm.
