Recently, I wrote a post about cleaning out my handbag because it looked like this:
In my post, I mentioned the Borne Naked bag liners, because I had seen them before and thought they looked fabulous. To my surprise, a few days later, I received this lovely email in my inbox.
Soon after our correspondence, a package arrived on my door step and I (very happily) organised my handbag, again. I love this sort of blogging and way of working with brands, because it gives the online world a community feel. I’m a regular mum, sharing as I live life. And Amanda from Borne Naked is a woman who found a need and made a great product (read about it here). It’s about real people, talking about everyday things, and I love that.
Love me a few before/after pictures.
What I love about the Borne Naked Liners
The Borne Naked liners have been on my wish list for a while now, and there are three main reason why I like them, apart from the obvious organisational benefits.
1. Clear: The liners are clear so I can easily see what’s inside. There are pockets inside each liner to separate the contents.
2. Zip: Many handbag liners I’ve seen before are open at the top, and this doesn’t work for me because my handbag is thrown all about the place — in the car, out of the car, back in the car. The Borne Naked liners have a zip at the top so the contents of my bag don’t fall all over the place. Love.
3. Easy: I like to easily move my essentials from one bag to another, from my everyday bay, to my evening bag, to my beach bag. Easy and quick.

Sizes
Borne Naked have many different liners and handbag accessories (just head to the Borne Naked website to have a look). To give you an idea of the three main sizes, you can see my regular sized handbag as a reference in the below picture.
Small: I use the small one in my regular sized handbag, and it fits in my evening bag too.
Small – L 23.5cm x H 13cm x W 7cm
Medium: The medium sized bag is fabulous for a regular bag, large bag, gym tote or nappy bag.
Medium – L 26cm x H 15cm x W 7cm
Large: The large liner is ideal for a large handbag, a nappy bag, or suit case. I use my large one as my beauty bag when I travel.
Large – L 27.5cm x H 22.5cm x W 9cm

August 8, 2012 at 3:25 pmMy handbag looks like a tornado has broken loose, one of these cleaver liners would mean I no longer lived in fear of the monster that might bite my hand when rummaging through the dark mess!

August 9, 2012 at 10:30 amExcellent idea — clarity for the handbag. And potentially would reduce the likelihood of errant random/squished sultanas being pulled out along with my phone… classy!

August 9, 2012 at 12:09 pmYes, Kelly, I can relate. The inside of my handbag looks exactly like your before photo. I’m a little over being the bag lady to the family’s bits and bobs. Time to take my ownership back with my handbag and enjoy some organisation 🙂 What a fantastic idea.

Will help with finding my phone in the mess when it’s ringing and looking for my keys and not being able to find them, then stressing I’ve lost them!

August 9, 2012 at 1:59 pmThis would make my life so much easier… I can never find MY stuff amongst the nappies, wipes, creams, hats, clothes in the nappy bag!
Justine Graham
August 9, 2012 at 2:11 pmgreat idea! would be perfect for me! I don’t take a handbag as i put everything in the nappy bag to save me taking 2 bags everywhere- so this would make it so much easier to keep my things together and easy to find in amongst nappies wipes and kiddy snacks and clothes! and then can transfer straight to my handbag for when i get to go somewhere without kids! great idea!
Danielle
August 9, 2012 at 2:39 pmOooooh yeah, baby. Show me the liner!!!

August 9, 2012 at 9:15 pmDo you mean if I won I wouldn’t need my husband to rescue me at shops whenever I forget to put my purse in a different bag! It’s my baby brain! Think he’d really love that and so would I! Will cross my fingers… Love the idea!

August 9, 2012 at 10:25 pmThis little invention would save me a fortune on lip gloss and hair ties alone! I am forever forgetting which bag things are in and constantly buy new stuff to put into all of them only to find duplicate items in every one when I do get around to cleaning them out (which isn’t very often I must say!)
Kate
August 10, 2012 at 5:51 amI so need one of these!
Beth
August 10, 2012 at 7:30 amI would finally be able to co-ordinate my handbag with my clothing without a major time consuming move of all my essential items. What a great product!

August 10, 2012 at 8:49 amI so need to be organised. I confess my whole life is disorganised and needs fixing. So starting with my handbag would be a brilliant as it is something I used everyday and hopefully this would inspire me to sort the rest of my life! Thanks for the great giveaway.
