Connections. I love connections: looking for them; finding them; linking them. Doing this brings much happiness to my life. So in this vase with flowers and shells, I see fields and oceans. And this takes me back to one of our favourite holidays as a family: a road trip. One of the best days was a visit to Tilba Tilba on the Central Coast. Gorgeous spot! There are majestic rocks, open fields and the ocean, all in one place.
Memories. It’s good to draw beautiful things and great times.
Kelly loves life at both ends of the spectrum: wearing high heel shoes one day and hiking boots the next; sipping tea out of a pretty cup and slurping hot coffee from a camping mug; challenging herself physically and stopping for quiet unhurried moments to feel the wind on her face. Kelly and her husband Matthew seek to live a fun and adventurous life with their four children and pet bird.
Making connections is actually a skill that many children struggle with. Doing these activities as a family helps your children develop as life long learners.
That’s a really interesting point. My mum taught me to live this way, and it seems so natural to pass it on to my kids too, as we travel life together.
