Don’t you love when good stuff from real life comes out in their drawings?
Miss 7 came in from the backyard with a piece of bark covered in gems. You see, we decorated a branch from the children’s favourite backyard tree, with jewels (you can spot the bling branch in the picture above).
“What are you going to do with that?” I asked her after she showed me.
“Draw a picture of our magic tree,” she said.
And there you have it.

April 8, 2013 at 2:56 amI was browsing the internet of kids drawings springing to life (that’s what we do by the way) and stumbled on your blog and just kept on reading. 🙂 Love the blogs about India. Me and my wife are planning to go on a trip to Asia this year too. 🙂 Love your blog! Fun mum indeed!

April 8, 2013 at 12:25 pmi love it when kids draw..there is something so beautiful about the way that they just put pen to paper and let their imagination free. Not caring about how perfect the drawing actually is…love it!

April 13, 2013 at 8:17 amSo special. I hope this is one you’ll keep forever Kell. It’s just lovely.
You find out so much about what your child love by what they draw. I’m so lucky Miss Possum draws all the time, I love seeing what she comes up with!
