I love feeling that chill in the air. It means the time has come to pull out the tights and jumpers. The girls and I had a bit of fun with the tights by drawing cute designs on the knees. So quick and easy to do!
Materials
Tights
Black Sharpie Fabric Marker
Designs
For best results, keep the design really simple. The kids and I doodled for a while to work out what to draw on the tights (saw the cat design here). Most of the ones we used in the end were the children’s designs. I drew free hand (not very well) but the look I was going for was a bit quirky and we are all pleased with the result. For more exact results, you could look for a template online, print it out and slip it under the stockings to trace.
Instructions
1. Put tights on. This is important to make sure the design goes on the knees where you want it.
2. After practicing on a piece of paper a few times, I drew the design stright onto the tights. Use a little piece of baking paper between the stocking and the skin to minimise transfer to the skin if desired (I didn’t worry about it though).
That’s it!
