This is a sponsored post for Ryvita and Digital Parents Collective (S1 post)
I’ve enjoyed Ryvita crisp bread for many years. Recently, I’ve been keeping a food diary as part of a fitness challenge I’m doing, and you can see Ryvita popping up in my diet as a meal, snack or sprinkled on soup. I really enjoy the taste, crunch, convenience and the simple ingredients (Wholegrain Rye Flour & Salt). Plus I find the size of the crisp bread helps with portion control.
This week, one of my favourite Ryvita topping recipes is featured in the Woman’s Day Magazine. For no other reason but for an opportunity to be creative AND it’s cool, I made this animation (click below to play it). Miss 12 did the honours of eating this beauty for me (this is one of her favourite combinations too).

Topping Ideas
I’m writing this post as part of Ryvita’s topped to perfection campaign. There are so many combinations I love and I’m sharing some of my favourites below. So seriously good. You can check out the Ryvita Australia Facebook page for more ideas.
Toppings
Cream cheese & strawberry jam
Cream cheese & blueberry
Vegemite & cottage cheese
Tomato tuna & spinach
Cucumber & ham
Banana smash & honey
Brie, raspberry & mint
Peanut butter & banana

Sometimes you need to inject interesting and gorgeous food combinations into the mix. Have you ever tried jam and cheese; vegemite and lettuce; peanut butter and syrup? I like those combinations too.

February 24, 2014 at 6:21 pmGrowing up in the UK they used to sell Cottage Cheese with Pineapple – which was very small pieces of pineapple mixed in the cottage cheese. It works really well as the sweetness adds a nice contrast to the cheese. I make my own now!
