This is a sponsored post for Ryvita and Digital Parents Collective (S1 post)
I’ve enjoyed Ryvita crisp bread for many years. Recently, I’ve been keeping a food diary as part of a fitness challenge I’m doing, and you can see Ryvita popping up in my diet as a meal, snack or sprinkled on soup. I really enjoy the taste, crunch, convenience and the simple ingredients (Wholegrain Rye Flour & Salt). Plus I find the size of the crisp bread helps with portion control.
This week, one of my favourite Ryvita topping recipes is featured in the Woman’s Day Magazine. For no other reason but for an opportunity to be creative AND it’s cool, I made this animation (click below to play it). Miss 12 did the honours of eating this beauty for me (this is one of her favourite combinations too).

I’m writing this post as part of Ryvita’s topped to perfection campaign. There are so many combinations I love and I’m sharing some of my favourites below. So seriously good. You can check out the Ryvita Australia Facebook page for more ideas.

February 19, 2014 at 11:43 amI like sweet gherkins sliced (the ones available in jars) with cheese on crispbread. It has the perfect mix of tanginess with the gherkins and I love cheese! It’s simple and quick – and it’s easy to store in the fridge for a quick snack because both gherkins and cheese stay fresh in the fridge for a while. 🙂

February 19, 2014 at 11:54 pmA yummy topping would be refried beans and guacamole. For a great ‘nacho’ taste on a Ryvita instead of a corn chip. Better for you too!

February 20, 2014 at 5:21 pmLook the ideas, will be giving them a try.
I love making a mini pizza on mine with some sauce, and any toppings then add some grated cheese and very lightly grill just to melt the cheese a bit.

February 22, 2014 at 9:03 pmMy favourite topping, for Ryvitas and pizzas alike, is mashed banana and crispy bacon. The two different textures and the sweet/salty combination works brilliantly. Please try it, people!

February 22, 2014 at 10:58 pmCream cheese, banana, pistachios, cinnamon and honey are favourite toppings in our family.
This is how i love to make it……
– spread some cream cheese over the Ryvita crispbread to start with .
-A few round slices of bananas were placed on top.
-sprinkle some chopped pistachios .
– a sprinkle of cinnamon and a drizzle of honey.
This combination works for us because everyone in the family loves it and eat it happily.

February 23, 2014 at 1:50 pmPopeye’s delight – spread Ryvita with avocado, top with baby spinach leaves, sliced tomato (or cherry toms) and cracked salt/black pepper – then drizzle with balsamic vinegar glaze (thick)
It contains healthy fats, greens (iron) and a fruit in a quick tasty combination that is delicious on the lips but light on the hips.
