Brought to you by 3M (S1 Post)
If you’re anything like me, Christmas Eve means I’m usually up late organising things for the next day. I want to show you just how EASY and quick it is to put together an adorable little set up for Santa on Christmas Eve using Scotch® Expressions Tape.
I’ve used this tape before for many different projects and it’s absolutely fabulous for all kinds of creative endeavours. I’ll have more Christmas tutorials soon. There are many different colours and styles of tape. I used Scotch® Expressions Washi Tape for this tutorial, and there is also a Scotch® Expressions Magic™ Tape and Scotch® Expressions Packaging Tape range. You can buy tape from places like Officeworks and BIG W.
The Scotch® Expressions Washi Tape comes with cute little storage boxes, and that makes me happy.

What you need
Scotch® Expressions Washi Tape
A4 piece of photo paper or other light cardboard
Biscuits (or cookies sound better!) and milk for Santa
- To make Santa a card, simply print out the Dear Santa template (click the picture below for the printable) and decorate two or more edges with Scotch® Expressions Tape. It looks so good that’s all you have to do really! Then the kids can write their message on the back or colour the front, trace DEAR SANTA with tape or decorate any way they like.
Here’s a few other ideas:
- Buy a Santa Key (you can either use an old key and decorate with glitter or look out for one at a department store).
- Make Reindeer food. Oats and glitter or sprinkles does the trick!
This card takes less than 5 minutes to make and the kids can add their own creative touches so everyone will be all set on Christmas Eve.
I’ll be sharing more ideas on how to use in different festive projects, and you can also find heaps of inspiration here: www.decorateandcelebrate.com.au
