Look Up: Dubai Skyline

When I travel to different places in the world, I look at the skyline. I think you can tell a lot about a place from looking up. I did it in India, and in Laos, and now I’m here in Dubai.

In the week I’ve been in Dubai, I’ve experienced so much it’s mind boggling! Last night, I sat overlooking at the Burj Khalifa and thought how surreal it was. Dubai has that something about it. It’s surreal. It has stuff that seems impossible. It’s a city created for people, by people.  The entire city is created to have ambiance, and it seems to work, which again, baffles me.  For example, every hotel I’ve walked into has a unique fragrance. The city is sparkly and clean. People seem calm here. It really is a created world…one for comfort, luxury and experience.  I’m so grateful for this week in amongst it all. I’ve experienced more this week than I thought possible! Thank you Dubai!
