You can do this anywhere! On a holiday, at a park, in the city or around the streets of your home. It’s a great way to explore and use technology in a fun way. I call it a Photo Walk Treasure Hunt. Essentially, I map out a short route and the kids and I look for things to photo graph according so simple prompts.

Mapping a route
I never go far on these photo walks, however it can be helpful to pick out a few key points along the way. When I take kids, it can be fun to sometimes draw a (really rough) map with an X-marks-the-spot at the end with pen or pencil. The X could be an ice-cream for afternoon tea. I recently did a photo walk in Dubai when I was there so I could show the kids. Another idea is to get a rough idea of the area by using Google Maps.
A simple and easy activity to do for the holidays.
