Nest Cupcakes

I’m not flash with cake decorating. Let’s just say this: I make the cake part of the birthday cakes in this family, but my husband usually does the decorating because he’s far more precise and patient than I am.  But this is simple and easy! Fun for Easter, baby showers or birthdays. This is a fun activity for kids too because it’s so simple. They can make their own nest.

I use this recipe for the cupcake part. Then for the decorating I used:

• Flake (can use cut-up-finely block chocolate instead)
• Vanilla Icing
• Speckled Eggs

1. Crush flake chocolate in a bowl

2. Ice the top of the cupcake use a teaspoon

3. Place small chards of chocolate in a circle shape and place the small eggs inside.

Done.
