Okay, I’m going to say that I found this book rather disturbing. BUT, my kids absolutely LOVED it! Ha! My teen daughter grabbed Deadly Peril: And How to Avoid It by Tracey Turner off the library shelf. I guess you could say it’s kind of a survival book, kind of a fact book and kind of a (darkly) humorous book. It lists the world’s deadliest perils, how they might kill you, and how to evade them. Each peril has its own report – a rating out of 10 for the worst possible outcome.
