Turn a box into roads for toy cars

Over the years, I’ve made quite a few of these city roads for toys cars for my kids. It’s super simple and quick to make, and great fun for kids, especially during the school holidays.

Materials

Large Box
Craft knife or scissors
Permanent markers
Small toy cars

1. Take your large box and sit it open side up. Then cut down two sides with a craft knife.

2. Fold down.

3. Draw in roads on the flat horizontal section, and homes/scenery/buildings on the vertical backdrop of the box.

4. Add toys cars and play!
