Our family are massive Disney fans so we are super excited about the release of Disney Words by Woolworths! It’s such a great idea. You can collect a Disney themed tile with every $30 spent in store or online at Woolies.
I love this product because it adds value to family life. It’s educational, fun, and great for travel and home. In a couple of weeks (after we have collected some more tiles), I’ll share another post with different ways you can use the product for family fun.
The tiles
The tiles are made from tin plated steel and come in a paper wrapper, so you can just pop the packaging in any kerbside recycling bin. We have three tiles already: Ariel, Jack-Jack and Timon. There are 36 characters to collect from 14 different movies. I’ve included a list of the different character tiles below.

On one side of the tiles, you have a Disney or Pixar character, and on the other side, there is a letter. The tiles are great for all kind of word games for kids. There are game ideas in the collector case, and I can think of so many more which I will share in another blog post soon.
Additional Products
You can purchase a Collector’s Album for the tiles for $4, a Carry Bag to hold loose tiles for $3 and a Magnetic Message Board for $4 at Woolworths. Also, look out for bonus tiles with selected products. To find out more about how to get bonus tiles, check out the Woolworths catalogue or website.
Below I’m featuring the Collector’s Album. It’s fabulous for travel and home. When folded up, it’s a similar size to an A4 piece of paper. You open it up to reveal different game ideas. The ideas are simple enough for young children, which is greatfor learning and literacy fun. Open up again to reveal the board to play word games on and a space to collect the tiles.
