Do your kids have a fascination with the poo emoji? Mine do. Anything to do with poo and farts seems to get any kids’ attention I find.
If you search the internet, you can find all sorts of Poo Emoji products. It has also become a theme for kids parties!
The Poo Emoji became part of the Unicode 6.0 in 2010. So we’ve had this image for 9 years! If your kids are in primary school, they probably have never known a life without emojis!
With that in mind, I came up with this really cool project to turn a Christmas Tree lollipop into a Poo Emoji. I know my kids will LOVE it. And yours will too.

All you need is a large candy Christmas Tree Lollipop. I got mine from Kmart (in the Christmas lolly and chocolate aisle near the checkouts). Alternatively, you could check your local confectionery store.
Materials
- Christmas Tree Lollipop
- Googly eyes
- Black and white felt
- Scissors
- Glue

Instructions
I think the photos of the lollipop show how easy it is to put together.
You will need to cut a crescent shape for the mouth from your black felt. I cut a smaller crescent out of white felt to add definition to the mouth.

The googly eyes are also available from Kmart in the craft section.

Use craft glue to stick your mouth and eyes to the lollipop to create a face. If you’re concerned about using glue, try blu-tak instead.

The lollipops are $1 each. This could make a sweet gift to kids in the classroom or they can be added to your kids’ stocking as a stocking stuffer.
